As we move through this special time of year, it‘s easy to set aside our ultimate health goals and indulge in the delicious feasts and celebrations. I know it was always a booby-trap for me, and I usually didn’t come out of my food coma until January. LOL!
Let’s be honest – it can really be too hard to resist – with the fun of family, those once a year favorite recipes, and just the spirit of the season – who wants to feel the emotional deprivation of not participating in the festivities because of your detoxification diet.
But I encourage you to keep the healing that you seek in the forefront of your mind and make conscious choices that don’t pull you away from your goals. To partake without over indulging, and hopefully, providing some healthier options for yourself and family.
